At FBC, we honor the importance of the family and strive to meet the needs of children and their parents. We hope that you will allow us to welcome your family as we work together toward building loving, Christian homes. Here are just a few of the ways your child can be involved at FBC Brownwood.
Sundays
Sunday School
This is a time for children to study God's word in an age-appropriate environment and interact with their peers. During this time children will experience a Bible story, work on a related project, and sing songs.
Children's Worship
A time of growth and learning for children ages 4 yrs. - 1st grade. This is a time when children discover how they can participate in worship. After sharing in family worship through music, prayer, and Scripture reading, parents have the option to send their children to a special worship time. Children will discover more about what we do during the worship hour and how they can participate. They will have the freedom to actively explore the joy and respect that come together in worship.
KIDS First at First
Wednesday nights
Music: Preschoolers are encouraged to play through music and sing about God's love. Grade school children will become comfortable with music as a way of expressing themselves and drawing close to God. They will sing, play instruments, and share music with the church family.

Missions: Children of all ages will learn how people across our nation and the world share the love of Jesus. Each child will participate in activities designed to discover how they can impact our community and the world for Christ.
- Mission Friends - an introduction to missions for 4 & 5 yrs. olds
- Royal Ambassadors (RAs) - Boys mentored by Christian men as they learn how to reach a world that needs Jesus
- Girls in
Action (GAs) - Christian women leading girls to impact
their world through missions
